No Gerrard, but Beckham is a go?

Gerrard gets to play against Chelsea, but sit for England vs Germany. Beckham, whose team needs him either on the field game time, or resting when he can, has been called in. I understand the logistics of it, but that will seriously hurt the Galaxy's chance of making playoffs, if there ever was one.

Becks looked real tired tonight..... Liverpool is playing for big bux! Plus they have more influence than the MLS Galaxy....

Not only does Liverpool have more influence, but this was the Galaxy's first dealing with England... and because of that there was only so much they can do. As the Galaxy season dwindles, Yallop and Lalas will have more pull over what Beckham can do and not do.
