I have to admit some of his antics are very respectable. The chalenge that got him hurt vs Chelsea pre-WC...100% effort....challenge on Portuguese player...100% effort ...maybe a yellow but no red... now punching another EPL player a bar...refreshing to the boring lives of American efforts on and off the feild...in fact I can't remember an off the field antic from MLS players... the closest player to Rooney for the US is Dempsey...
