ok, so in 2000 the us women won gold in the women's world cup. hooray! ok, what happened in 2004? did they win? did they play? was there even a cup? who knows, and more importantly, who cares? just like any other women's sport, it just doesn't give that spark of the men. it's like going to an award winning film then watching your cousin's middle school performance; it doesn't even come close; and it never will...
